Qi: A little word with many meanings.
The Scavolini Qi: A single concept with many functions.
Design by Nendo
Visually, Qi is composed of two elements: shelves, for sitting things on, and bowls for containing those things. Designed for Scavolini by Oki Sato, the Japanese founder of design studio Nendo, Qi is the perfect response to the demands and needs of modern life. Infinitely flexible and genuinely open, Qi is a system that combines elements that have different functions but similar shapes and texture, thereby preserving uniformity. Sato’s aim was to design something simple but at the same time special. In Qi, his design philosophies are protected by the advanced technologies and expertise of the Scavolini team.
